Privacy Policy

Product-specific privacy

Vouch has multiple experiences. Each is consent-first and minimal by design.

Vouch (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates consent-first listening and reflection experiences designed to help people share real input safely — while respecting privacy and data rights.

This Privacy Policy is written in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and explains how data is collected, used, stored, and protected across Vouch experiences.

1. Our role in data handling

Vouch acts as a neutral consent and listening layer. We do not sell personal data. We collect only what is needed to enable learning, improve experiences, and deliver user-requested follow-up.

2. The Vouch experiences covered

Vouch Listen

A consent-first listening flow that helps individuals share an experience (place, product, service, event, brand, etc.).

Anonymous by default · Follow-up only if you opt in
Vouch Reflect

A private reflection flow for founders and decision-makers to turn mental load into clarity — and generate a copyable executive brief.

Private by default · Copyable clarity summary · Consent-based contact

3. Information we may collect

  • Experience ratings and written feedback (Listen).
  • Reflection answers and selected options (Reflect).
  • Optional personal information (name, WhatsApp, email) only if voluntarily provided.
  • Contextual info like partner identifier (Listen link tag) or optional org context (Reflect).
  • Timestamp of submission for integrity and audit purposes.

4. Consent and user choice

Participation is voluntary. Responses are anonymous/private by default. You can opt in to share contact details or allow follow-up. Consent is specific, informed, and can be withdrawn at any time.

5. Purpose of data use

  • To understand experiences and identify improvement opportunities.
  • To generate aggregated, non-identifiable patterns and insights.
  • To contact you only if you explicitly opted in for follow-up.

6. What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not run advertising based on your feedback/reflection.
  • We do not retarget or spam users.
  • We do not share identifiable personal data without consent.

7. Data sharing

For Vouch Listen, feedback may be shared with the relevant organization for improvement purposes — typically in aggregated or anonymized form unless you explicitly allow identification or follow-up.

For Vouch Reflect, responses are not a public feed. We may share only aggregated patterns (non-identifiable) to improve Vouch systems, and we follow up personally only if you opted in.

8. Data retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the stated purpose, improve services, or comply with legal obligations. Optional contact information is not retained beyond its intended use.

9. Your rights under DPDP

In accordance with the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Request access or correction of personal data.
  • Request deletion of personal data.
  • Raise privacy-related grievances.

10. How to opt out or delete your data

To withdraw consent or request deletion of your personal data, visit Delete My Data. Requests are processed within a reasonable time.

11. Security safeguards

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, misuse, or loss. While no system is completely secure, privacy protection is a core design principle at Vouch.
